Discover the card game of 54 drawings "Abattre les atouts". Indeed the Luxembourg designer Nina Tomàs reinterprets the idea of the social scale.
In the game, the queen and king are replaced by categories of living beings whose material wealth varies in an increasing manner and highlights a hierarchy of power.
The "Ace", whose value can vary from the weakest to the strongest card, depending on the game, has been placed above the king, as a symbol of the wise man who, materially, is the weakest, but who, humanly, far exceeds the power of the others.
Nina Tomàs wanted to create card games that is accessible to all because of its usefulness, but which also encourages reflection on the distribution of contemporary social groups.
The cards allows each player to find himself among the figures represented and to have a possibility of interaction within the established system.
