“It was in Saint-Pierre-des-corps that our interview took place, in the middle of July. We decided that it would not focus so much on the work of Jean-Charles as on the romantic and sexual relationships that he maintains with his plastic production, his sculptures. Necessarily, we were going to talk about our desires and the economy of our fantasies. Like Saint-Pierre-des-corps, “Jean-Charles de Quillacq” is a heterogeneous aggregate of proper and common nouns placed end to end, which could contain more than one person or have extensions. Elsa Vettier has broadened its contours. We transcribed the interview and agreed that our names would not appear throughout the text because ultimately, knowing who asks the questions, who plays the game, who confides, has little importance.
