The prestige box, published by Mudam Luxembourg, offers a visual journey in four stages into the universe of one of the most active South Koreans artists on the contemporary art scene. With more than 40 images to enjoy, texts by Enrico Lunghi and Markus Pilgram, and a DVD with a never-released interview of the artist, the book closely follows the exhibition at Mudam, which for the first time in Europe brings together together such an important collection of Lee Bul’s work, from the Cyborgs series to more recent pieces, as well as a monumental installation specifically conceived by the artist for the museum’s Grand Hall. The publication was undertaken with the generous support of PKM Gallery, Lehmann Maupin, Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac and Bartleby Bickle & Meursault.
