The story, written by the Luxembourgish-Belgian author Marie-Isabelle Callier
, tells the history of a young faun and his dog who escape from a photograph in the National Museum of History and Art
in the middle of the night.
They discover the City and the six museums of history and art with their old and contemporary collections and hide themselves in those buildings (Casino Luxembourg - Forum of Contemporary Art, the Lëtzebuerg City Museum, the Mudam Luxembourg – Museum of Modern Art Grand-Duc Jean, the Dräi Eechelen Museum, the National Museum of History and Art and the Villa Vauban - Luxembourg City Art Museum).
The original paintings are illustrated with watercolors. This book is intended for children aged between 3 and 10 and is part of the Friends of Museums association’s mission of transmitting culture to the young generation.
