1. How do you define your concept / style / brand?
Miniature couture, as my "slogan" already says, is a good definition for my brand. The accessories with the mini wardrobes allow you to play with outfits that are sometimes inaccessible or sometimes improbable by appropriating a daring look... but it is always with a good dose of humour and a wink.
2. What are the responsible values, actions that your brand conveys? Why are they important to you?
All the accessories are handmade in Luxembourg and under my control. For the materials, there is a lot of "second life" that I give to fabrics and especially to old leather and fur that I "save" from the trash can.... the fact of giving a new life to existing materials by assembling them with new ones, also makes the charm of my creations, which are, therefore, never the same between them.
3. Which of your creations do you like the most? Why do you like it the most?
The Charlotte brooch because I have had it in my collections since the beginning. It has been available for 10 years now and has become a real classic. I like the style and the look it represents with its mackintosh, its jeans, its converse and the Kelly bag, object of desire...
4. Tell us your story, your link with Luxembourg ?
As a Luxembourger, my link is very familial. But the fact that I work as a freelance designer in Luxembourg is also largely linked to Mudam. Marie Claude Beaud actually "called me back" from the Netherlands for a project for the opening of Mudam in 2006...and since then I have stayed for good......
5. Give us a story on the “Made in Luxembourg”
Not really a story, except that it is of course very exotic for my Japanese, Taiwanese clients....
