Anne-Marie Herckes, born in 1978 in Luxembourg, studies fashion style in Antwerp and Vienna. She acquired her professional experience with Viktor & Rolf, Kostas Murkudis, Ute Ploier, the girl and the gorilla then created her own brand of accessories and textile jewelry in 2009.
As a designer Anne-Marie Herckes works on a miniaturization of icons from fashion history: jacket, bag or shoes, everything is reduced to its simplest and worked as a 2dimensional image. Little icons appear that one can attach as a brooch to clothing, or as a charm to bags and phones. Her accessories have to be seen as an homage to fashion and its creators, but not without irony.
