1. How do you define your concept / style / brand?
BLANLAC is elegance, timelessness, with a style of great finesse. Its shoes and leather goods accessories have that little "je-ne-sais-quoi", that perfume of dolce vita that makes them so chic and inimitable.
Handcrafted by passionate Italian artisans, they are the fruit of ancestral know-how, mastered gestures and executed with love, which sublimate the smallest details.
The lines are sober and pure, the materials innovative: wheat leather, apple leather, wood and the design comfortable, with all the quality of "100% Made in Italy" and a know-how of excellence.
BLANLAC shoes and accessories also have that little extra something that makes all the difference: they are vegan, ethical and eco-responsible.
2. What are the responsible values, actions that your brand conveys? Why are they important to you?
With BLANLAC, we wanted to honour tradition, passion, sustainability and responsible production. We believe in authenticity, kindness, and respect for living beings, which are all values we wish to embody.
3. Which of your creations do you like the most? Why do you like it the most?
In reality, all BLANLAC creations are unique and beautiful. But I must admit that my favourite is the COSMEA. It's a 200% feminine, sophisticated shoe that is seductive in its simplicity. It has been produced in various colours in a limited edition and worn by several personalities from the world of cinema and music...one pair even walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival!
4. Tell us your story, your link with Luxembourg ?
It's a beautiful story that has been going on for almost 10 years. It's a land that has many assets. First of all, the quality of life. There are a lot of forests, very pleasant natural sites, and it's all the more enjoyable to be able to leave the house and be in the middle of nature very quickly. Moreover, Luxembourg is ideally located and close to the various European fashion capitals! I appreciate the kindness of its inhabitants, I have made a lot of friends here and I feel really comfortable.
5. Give us a story on the “Made in Luxembourg”
It was while walking along one of the paths in the Mullerthal that I got the idea to make a wooden shoe... A few months later, we launched the WOLFRAMITE men's shoe.
