The curators of the
9th edition of the European Month of Photography Luxembourg (EMOPLUX 2023) have chosen the theme of
Rethinking Identity. This second edition of the "Rethinking..." trilogy focuses on a topical theme in the context of
emerging contemporary photography: more than ever, photography has an important role to play in reflecting on the construction and deconstruction of identities conveyed by social networks.
Today,
gender issues are joined by more global thinking, leading to new positions on political, cultural and social identities.
