As part of Rencontres d'Arles, Lët'z Arles presents two exhibitions: Bad News by Pasha Rafiy and On the Other End by Laurianne Bixhain. It all begins with Donald J. Trump's kind refusal to be photographed, to which Pasha Rafiy gives a title - bad news - and a function: it becomes the origin of a photographic project. This project is a continuation of his photographic work, which brings together medium-format portraits of people from the world of politics and the arts, taken in a meticulously chosen environment. Laurianne Bixhain's exhibition explores our relationship with technical objects - a kind of intermediary between humans and their environment - their handling and notions of mobility and ubiquity. In a spirit of experimentation, using the sets of the Chapelle de la Charité as a starting point, Laurianne Bixhain proposes a dialogue of photographs that extends into a publication based on correspondence.
