• Description du produit
Defined by Leonor Antunes as ‘sculptures created in space’, the work by this leading artist establishes complex relationships between sculpture, architecture, design, light and the body. She dedicates special attention to the materials she uses, which are often natural or organic, and to the effects left on them by time and their use. This is the most comprehensive publication on the artist to date, spanning her entire career, and it follows exhibitions at the Museum de Arte de São Paulo Assis Chateaubriand (MASP) and Casa de Vidro, and at Mudam Luxembourg – Musée d’Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean. The book features images of twenty-two of Antunes’s most important exhibitions since 2007, as well as a section on some of her key references, with short texts and images about Anni Albers, Carlo Mollino, Carlo Scapa, Charlotte Perriand, Clara Porset, Egle Trincanato, Eileen Grey, Eva Hesse, Franca Helg, Franco Albini, Gego, Lina Bo Bardi, Vilanova Artigas, and Lygia Clark.
