For a little over fifteen years, Katinka Bock has been developing a sculptural practice closely concerned with temporality and space. Her exhibitions seek to reveal certain characteristics of the places they occupy, while at the same time, and with sensitivity, exploring the various layers that make up these spaces. ‘What are the limits of this space? How can I render it porous?’ – these are the questions the artist asks. Published to mark the three exhibitions presented by Katinka Bock in 2018 at the Kunst Museum Winterthur, Mudam Luxembourg and the Institut d’art contemporain, Villeurbanne/Rhône-Alpes, this trilingual monograph includes articles by Simone Menegoi, François Piron and Christina Végh, an interview with the artist by Christophe Gallois and photographic sequences by Johannes Schwartz. It is published with the support of the Cnap.
