Chris Korda (b. 1962, New York) is a multidisciplinary artist who delves in such fields as environmental activism, techno music and software programming.
In 1992, inspired by a dream and already deeply worried about the then-looming ecological disasters that have come to pass in the ensuing decades, Korda co-founded the Church of Euthanasia (CoE) with Robert Kimberk.
The banners in this exhibition were used in several public actions by the CoE during the 1990s. They show the radical urgency Korda and her followers felt at the time.
